What do I need to know?
Commitment Whilst team competitions are extremely enjoyable, team membership comes with some commitments that you will need to make to the team. This will give you an idea about what's expected. Marion Hughes is our Chef d'Equippe and will be happy to answer any questions or provide support should you wish to participate.
Your horse Your horse will need up to date vaccinations in order to participate in Area and National events. The Flu Vacc Checker tool can help you make sure that your horse is fully eligible. If you are unsure please speak to Marion.
Team Rules As you would expect when competing at Area and National level there are some team rules that you will need to understand and comply with. Marion will be happy to provide you with any clarification should you need to find out more.
BRC Guidelines for Riding Hats (2012) New guidelines apply from January 2012.
Body Protectors Anyone who wishes to take part in anything involving feet leaving the ground must ensure that their body protector meets BRC requirements of being manufactured in or after year 2000
Dope Testing This will continue to be undertaken at all Championships and will be rolled out for all Area Qualifiers once all officials and stewards have received training.
